Polar bears can live up to 20 or 30 years, but only a small percentage live past 15 to 18 years. The oldest polar bear to ever live in the Arctic was 32 years old. The oldest bear in zoological park was 45 years old. Adult polar bears have no predators but cubs are hunted by wolves and other carnivores. Polar bears have been hunted for thousands of years. Hunters began using snowmobiles boats and air planes to hunt polar bears.Hunting is the greatest single cause of polar bear death.Starvation is one of the polar bears greatest threats.From ice and snow milting it made the polar bears die rapidly. `
